Frontend Developer for George in Slovacia

You can expect: - Developing a plugin management application for the George platform on which the internet banking for Erste, Sparkasse, Ceska sporitelna is running targeting millions of end users - Analyzing screen flows and wire frames to make a rich user experience front-end - Test and document the code - Learning about distributed systems, cloud deployments - Being part of international team - Participation in Scrum ceremonies Perfect job for you, if you have: - Several years of experience building single page web applications - Fluency in web development technologies with a good feel for what is and is not possible - A bag-full of JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS or BackboneJS, and Git skills, with some TypeScript knowledge also welcome - Ninja-like skills of refactoring and working with legacy code. - Understanding the value of TDD, BDD and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine) as a way to deliver software of higher value - An ability to express your values and opinions and articulating them in fluent English - Knowledge of all the good parts of JavaScript - Experience with Test-driven JavaScript development We recommend this role for: - Freelancers who are looking for long-term project - Those who want to write clean and solid code - Those who love improving the Design of existing code - You must be an EU-citizen or hold a valid visa, permit, or trade-license to apply for this position
