Are you ready to help us make the future? Job Description We have a great opportunity for an Industrial Engineer to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Lugoj! Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the business by sustaining support by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities. Key Responsibilities ·Creating and keeping updated the site layout using AutoCAD ·Propose layout modifications to optimize shop floor space or to integrate new products or equipment in mass production. ·Collaboration with HSE department for respecting the standards ·Operations balancing: time measurement of process steps ·Balancing the operation according to takt time for increasing output or decreasing headcount considering one-piece-flow production. ·Creating SCS - Standard Combination Sheet / Standard Work Method ·Support for NPI & Transfers: support in defining the layout for transfer projectsLayout design for new lines/ equipment based on product-Process matrix and volumes ·Design of work systems with the aim of improving the productivity of production process flows under ergonomic aspects. ·Check routings in the system (SAP) and assure correct wage and final costing data incl. Check working method and calculated cycle times in the launch phase. ·Involvement in capacity planning of resources and relocating products, acquisitions (relevant data for calculation), planning and wage payment (MTM and/or REFA methodology) Qualifications: ·3+ years in industrial engineering. ·Solid experience with AutoCAD (Six Sigma knowledge would be an advantage). ·University Degree in Engineering. ·Takt time, cycle time, study time management (MTM and/ or REFA methodology would be an advantage). ·Proactive, energetic behavior, open to new challenges ·Solid English knowledge.
