Thales Romania delivers advanced signaling, supervision and control systems for railways in close cooperation with Thales Germany, information systems for England’s motorways and major roads in close cooperation with Thales UK, Human Computer Interfaces (HCI) for air and land simulators in cooperation with Thales France.
Thales Romania also works with Thales Global Services, in particular with Thales Corporate Engineering, which is providing tools and methods for all the engineers of the group.
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Thales Romania & Thales France.
Job summary:
Inner Source is the use of open source software development best practices and the establishment of an open source-like culture within organizations.
As the engineer of the Thales Inner Source Stack, your responsibilities are:

Understand the functional aspects of the delivery by constructively discussing with the Product Owner and the Proxy Product Owner;

Develop, build, test, deploy, run and operate in production;

Set and apply best practices (both development and operational best practices), code quality, security standard and corresponding KPIs;

Actively contribute to the technical solution definition and improvements;

Help the team to focus on cross/non functional requirements;

Engage and role-model the pair-programming and pair-reviewing sessions / educate and mentor junior teammates to help them grow in their role;

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies;
