PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Thales Systems Romania (TSR) is now developing its capacities in Sw development for Space applications in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space (TAS).
Kineis- offers tomorrow’s IoT network connectivity; 25 nanosatellites custom developed for IoTin orbit by 2022; Locates and collects data all over the globe
Sectors of activity: outdoor sports, agriculture, artisanal fishing, logistics, security and science
Our mission
Develop the central ground segment element of the KINEIS system - Mission Control Segment (MCS); Route, upload and process all messages between the ground segment, the space segment and the user segment

JOB SUMMARY:
· Work in an agile team to build a scalable, reliable and secure software
· Design, develop, deploy, integrate various features into existing or new products, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result
· Assists as part of the team on the design of components of larger systems
· Monitors and reports on the progress of software development project, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures
· Puts skills and project based experience into practice and provides support to less experienced colleagues
· Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues’ work
· Tests the programmed solution
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar;
· Work experience in Agile software development processes;
· Foundation in software engineering processes and best practices;
· Professional experience in designing and developing applications using Java8, Spring Boot 2+, Hibernate;
· Design patterns;
COMPETENCES:
· Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
· Team-working;
· Solution oriented while being open to embrace new technologies;
· Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time;
· Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
WOULD BE A PLUS:
· Knowledge of Angular 5+
· Working experience in software development with TypeScript;
· Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible or similar tools;
· Knowledge in using: Jenkins, Junit, Maven;
· Architecture micro-services;
