As a member of the Ops team you will be responsible for the day to day operation of our production environment. You will be handling a big variety of issues: from monitoring, through support to R&D in issues related to customer’s data, and over to implementing new deployments and procedures in production environment.
In your daily work you will interact with DevOps engineers, R&D engineers and Customer contact persons with a goal to ensure customer’s working area will run smoothly all time
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring production sites
- Available to work 1 Sunday per month.
- Responding to alerts triggered by the system
- Handle escalations in operations
- Leading the implementation of new procedures in productions environment
- Support R&D in issues related to customer’s data
- Identify manual processes / missing tools and push for their automation
- Deploy new releases in production sites
Qualifications:
- Great interpersonal skills and real team player
- Ability to lead tasks
- Very organized and able to work according to pre-define methodology.
- Highly motivated and autonomous.
- Experience with AWS cloud components.
- Experience with Linux operating system (different distributions).
- Experience with Database administration: Oracle, Postgres
