Quality EngineerPosition SummaryWe are looking for a Quality Engineer who will ensure quality of product in accordance with customer’s requirements.To us nothing is impossible, you will have autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way.You’ll be the part of our Quality community and will report directly to Plant Quality Manager. Your RoleCheck the quality status in production on the previous day, FTQ, Rework Rate, Product Audit, Analysis of Nonconformity Control Reports;Analyzes customer complaints (5 why, 8D, presentations), prepares action plan, response to complaints in DPRTS system;Organizes meetings for customer claims, drive determination of root causes and follow up implementation of actions;Participates in the meeting with the production on quality issues;Activity monitoring, evaluation and tracing of tasks for Shop Floor Responsible, Quality Shop floor Auditors and Containment Operators;Coordinates all activities related to the numbering of documents in the department / area of ​​responsibility: instructs the people who create, verify and approve the EOS (Enterprise Operating System) documentation;Participates in the PFMEA analysis sessions; FTQ meetings;Provides the technical interface between the client and Aptiv;Responsible for quality control in production / line and ensuring the standardized and improved process;Analyzes the specific quality requirements of the client;Informs the organization and adapts the quality system according to the customer's requirements;Controls, approves and solves the production quality problems in time, in order to meet the customer's requirements;Participates in Engineering Change Management sessions and responds to tasks received through ECM tools;Participates in Kaizen's activities from her/his area of ​​responsibility;Participates in meetings with the Customer Service Center for daily complaints.Your BackgroundUniversity Degree in Engineering, Quality management or similar fields;Over 3 years of work experience in the automotive industry, at least 1 year in Quality;Familiar with automotive electrical installations and product design, has knowledge and experience in FMEA;Knowledge about Control Plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA;Knowledge of basic problem solving process, 8D, 5 Why steps, Ishikawa, Pareto, Fishbone;Knowledge of quality requirements and standards of the automotive industry (IATF 16949:2016);Fluent in written and spoken English (Knowledge of German is a plus);Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;Analytical ability to assess and identify appropriate alternative courses of action for definition and resolution for quality problems;Interpersonal skills to lead motivate and facilitate others in group situations and instruct others in new techniques.Aptiv Rewards & AdvantagesWe value our employees as the most important value of our companyHealth care benefitsWe offer flexible working hoursLearning and development opportunitiesRecognition for innovation and excellenceOpportunities to give back to the communityMeaningful work that makes a difference in the worldSome see differences.
