Role Description Summary
The Data Analyst will work closely with each of the disciplines within the Delivery Team
(Product Owner, BusinessAnalysts, Architecture, Development and Testing) to ensure solution design and
implementation is in line withthe business requirements.
Works with developers forfunctional trouble-shooting and resolution of reported defects, production
incidents and issues from alltesting phases.
Supporting various testingphases: component testing, component integration testing, regression testing,functional testing, operational acceptance testing.
Responsibilities:

Understands, creates or documents business, functionaland data flows and provide them to the delivery team;

Understands the system interfaces and interactions withother components of the platform; aligns its requirements with the outersystems;

Produce Design Specs ready to be consumed by developers;
-
Clarify requirements using interviews, documentanalysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business processdescriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis;

Proactively communicate and collaborate with externaland internal parties to analyze information needs for functional design anddeliver the artefacts as needed: Functional Specification Document, Epicsand/or user stories, Use Cases;

Understanding of the Logical Data Models (or “LDM”),Physical Data Models (or “PDM”) preferable;

Take the low level requirements attributes and map theseto the LDM/PDM;
-
Define reference data and any changes required inenterprise reference data;

Raise physical data model changes required to design andbuild changes;
-
Work closely with Business SMEs and TechnologyTeam/Technical Architects/EnterpriseArchitects/SolutionArchitects/Functional Design Team leads;

Attend Sprint Planning, Design Review, Showcase &Retrospectives;

Ensure Acceptance Criteria is achieved and Product Owneror Business sign-off.

Experience / Exposure:

Business knowledge of Payment systems and/or financialapplications – nice to have;

Sound understanding and experience of the Agile softwaredevelopment lifecycle;

Strong analytical skills, able to provide support tosolve business or production problems;

Experience with different requirements tracking systemslike JIRA;
-
Experience with Gihub - nice to have;
-
Working experience with different RDMS or DW (any ofOracle, MS SQL Server, others) and SQL;

PL/SQL language to analyze data,facilitate the inspection, extraction, transformation and produce SQL queries;

Experience of working with message based applications –nice to have;

Fluent English (written/verbal);

Excellent communication skills, able to articulatetechnical and non-technical issues;
