Our Global Project Management organization is strong with over 500 PM’s, offering a broad clinical trial portfolio across a range of therapies. This unique role is pivotal in supporting our PM group with process standardization and the creation, development, delivery and communication of innovative training projects. As the subject matter expert for project management process improvement initiatives you will be responsible for the onboarding and training content for all PM colleagues globally.

You will have the opportunity to Lead strategic partnerships with the commercial organization on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives.
You will act as one of the business leads for project management training and talent development, driving individual development plans and competency assessments for the project management organization.
You will be part of and could lead project management related integration work streams, such as the identification of interdependencies and the facilitation to remove road blocks, regularly reporting to the senior leadership team.
This role is tailor made for someone with a project management or clinical background who thrives on the challenge of continual process improvement to achieve operational excellence. You will have exceptional communication skills and be motivated by the challenge of conceiving, developing and delivering projects.

Education/Qualifications:
Recommended:
- University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e., nursing, medical or laboratory technology)
Preferred:
- Masters or other advanced degree
- PMP certification
Experience:
- Ideally you will have significant clinical research experience, however we can also consider candidates from outside the industry but with strong transferable skills.
- Clinical Project Management experience would be advantageous.
- Experience managing global projects with moderate financial value in a virtual environment.
- Building confidence in ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- The ability to utilize resources effectively on multiple moderate sized, cross-functional projects.
- Financial awareness and knowledge of financial control procedures (i.e., costing systems, time reporting).
- Learning to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff within a matrix system.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and to encourage team members to seek solutions independently.
- Adaptable and strategic communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to network, negotiate and liaise with stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Ability to present to staff at all levels—reads audience cues, actively listens, and adapts to different styles.
- Strong computer skills with an ability to understand, access and leverage technology alternatives.
