Senior Project Engineer in Alexandria

Job DescriptionThe Opportunity We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Projects Engineer to oversee the earthwork scope of work on our $100M Parkes railway upgrade project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead a team of Project and Site Engineers from project start to successful completion. You will have full oversight for ensuring safety, cost, quality and time targets are met; managing client, subcontractor and reporting to senior management on performance of your scope of works.Responsibilities will include:Ensuring accurate information is provided in the cost forecasting process inclusive of accurate forecast of costs to complete and production progress;Oversee earthworks scope of works across;Preparation of budgets and monitoring budgets versus expenditure on the project;Effectively distributing employee assignments with respect to ability and overall goals which affect project performance and individual motivation;Reading and interpreting all plans and drawing specification details, and;Streamlining and managing construction planning and programming of the project providing weekly status reports as required.About YouYou have a bachelors in civil engineering with ideally 8yr experience in project delivery across mid to large scale civil project predominantly within the earthworks space. As this is a leadership role you will need to bring a mentoring and coaching mindset to developing and growing your team’s capability and productivity.
