We're looking for someone to join our team of engineers and work for a client in the medical industry, being responsible for the Testing activities of one of this client's product lines.
What this role means for you:
- Test estimation, planning & execution of complex window based systems in a regulated product environment
- Perform team lead duties: oversee project success and report on quality metrics
- Analyze technical requirements, form testing strategies, and create detailed test cases and procedures
- Interface with clients and client-facing teams
Your profile
What we're expecting from you:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years’ experience working as a Test Engineer in a multidisciplinary project team environment, testing complex systems
- Strong communication skills and business acumen; able to represent Test Engineering well to various audiences including client contacts, engineering team members and executive teams
- Demonstrated technical aptitude for Test Engineering, with advanced knowledge and/or training in software development or hardware engineering
- Experience in testing various complex systems including medical devices, enterprise software, mobile applications, embedded software, or system level testing of capital equipment
- Capable of developing verification plans and estimates
- Experience with requirements management and test case management tools
- Experience with quality systems and regulated design standards such as ISO, ISO, IEC, DO-178, DO-254
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Comfortable with mentoring and training more junior team members
- Comfortable with direct client interfacing responsibilities
- Experience working effectively with distributed teams is helpful
- Experience in test automation supporting either embedded, desktop, web or mobile technologies is also helpful
- Experience in Behavior driven testing with Gherkin and Specflow is helpful
