Site Reliability Engineer with GCP in Bucuresti

What we need We’re looking for a  Site Reliability Engineer with GCP  who shares the same drive to improve people’s lives through technology and design. You’ll be working at the heart of top innovation projects for some of the most hyped industries at this moment.  Together with our team , you’ll be helping design, implement, and improve our infrastructure.   What you’ll do As part of the SRE team, design, implement, and improve our infrastructure (on-premises and in the cloud, Google Cloud Platform); You’re passionate about balancing scale and performance with a pragmatic approach and devising highly automated solutions to guarantee the encouraged level of reliability, performance, and quality in multiple environments; Closely work with other dev engineers to expand existing large-scale systems or implement new ones to support evolving analytical products; Deliver high-quality code and solutions, alongside Dev Engineers, Data Engineers, to improve delivery, and fault-tolerance and seamlessly integrate with the production platform running our customer-facing products; Focus on delivering fully automated, tested, and self-healing systems; Engage in capacity planning and explore solutions to increase the efficiency of the platform using the opportunities of open-source technologies. What will help you succeed Hands-on experience in delivering optimized code and infrastructure, preferably using open-source technologies; Programming in scripting languages, e.g. Python and Bash; Programming in a statically typed language, e.g. JVM (Java/Scala/Kotlin), Golang; Containerization - orchestration/deployment and provisioning automation tools e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD; Security, authentication, and authorization (LDAP / Kerberos / PAM / IAM) and networking; Experience with Implementing continuous delivery and deployment solutions (GitLab, Azure DevOps); Experience working with distributed storage e.g. Ceph, AWS S3, GFS. Nice to have Experience in working on cloud/hybrid solutions; Experience in designing, building, scaling, and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus.
