The Software Development Team Leader will be responsible with leading product development project team. He/she will also be responsible for the development and testing of SCADA/Cloud software and applications for RTUs and Flow Computers and of software development for tools used by RTUs and Flow Computers. In collaboration with our colleagues from Canada, you will put your skills to the test in order to build state of the art web applications as part of the Zedi IoT Platform.
Other responsibilities:
➢ Deliver secure and responsive solutions that meet customer needs and ensure we can meet their growing needs in the future;
➢ Program manages the development of SCADA/Cloud and PC based software for Remote Automation Solutions products.
✓ refining the requirements with the marketing department;
✓ develop project plans, drive decision making, manage schedules, identify risks;
✓ assign development tasks to team members;
✓ organize and track work assignments throughout the product development lifecycle;
✓ drive the project team to results, ensure good communications within and outside the team;
✓ coordinate relevant activities with the test and documentation managers, and reporting project status to management and other groups.
➢ Build world-class, industrial-strength web applications with a strong focus on usability;
➢ Travel requirements – minimum (potentially 4 times a year) to a maximum (1 per month).
Requirements:
➢ Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another technical field;
➢ Minimum 3 years experience working with software development activities for desktop/web products and development of applications running under the Windows operating systems;
➢ Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js., .NET 4.x Framework;
➢ Proficiency in ASP.NET Web Forms or ASP.NET MVC;
➢ Relevant experience or a combination of education and recent relevant experience in Visual Studio, Entity Framework or NHibernate, SQL;
➢ Familiarity with Responsive Design, GIT;
➢ Proficiency in ASP.NET Web Forms or ASP.NET MVC;
➢ Knowledge in HTML, CSS (LESS, Sass, etc., and frameworks such as Bootstrap);
➢ Soft-skills: details-oriented, participate in continuous improvement activities.
