As a Solution Architect you will have the opportunity to contribute to custom software solutions developed for selected high-end clients, from very early stages that include shaping the business solution until delivery in production. What will your responsibilities look like?
- Involvement in pre-sales activities, help in lead qualification, scope definition.
- Participate in requirements analysis, estimations, proof of concepts and results presentation/ documentation.
- Participate in workshops and drive for technical discussions, high-level design, technical risk management etc.
- Produce and maintain the technical documentation describing the Solution Architecture.
- Main technical contact from iQuest in the clarifications with the customer.
- Apply architectural best practices and choose technology stacks during analysis and design.
- Lead stakeholders to effective technology strategic decisions and impacts to project estimation.
- Defines the architecture that meets the functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drive the Analysis & Design process to concrete project situation.
- Lead the evaluation of software vendors targeted for possible integration into the systems or environment, including strategic applications, tools and utilities.
- Able to communicate the architecture intelligibly to the stakeholders.
- Strong communication with both technical and business teams.
- Provides technical assistance to Technical Lead/Project Manager.
- Explain the end-to-end architecture to team members.
- What technical skills will you need?
- Hands-on experience in working with cloud platforms (like Azure, AWS, Google) and container-based solutions (like Docker, Kubernetes).
- RESTful APIs complex integrations framework.

- What experience do you need?
- Experience with projects in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Audit or Corporate finance).
- Experience in delivering at least one project as a Solution Architect.
- Knowledge and experience with architecture frameworks and concepts.
- Knowledge of integration frameworks and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Prior experience in pre-sales activities: Bids/Opportunities, Sales Pitches, RFI/RFP response.
- In-depth knowledge of the business and technical industry aspects.
- Experience with projects that were delivered using different methodologies (SCRUM, WATERFALL, RUP, DSDM/ALF).
- One or more enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, 4 +1
- Experience using UML to define static (class and component diagrams) and dynamic (sequence/activity diagrams) architectural aspects.
