We build software applications that allow trains to safely and securely bring passengers to their destination. These applications have high availability requirements, so they are not allowed to stall or randomly crash.

Key tasks:
In this role you are responsible to manage the feature oriented requirement design, implementation and integration across multiple component teams.
You demonstrate and hand over the integrated requirement to the IVVQ team and / or the customer for final verification.


Responsibilities: 

  • All responsibilities of a product owner (including the creation of clear and understandable user stories / requirements based on system requirements);

  • Contribute to the release planning / backlog definition and reporting; 

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define and deliver the product with excellent customer experience -such as System design team, UX, Architects IVVQ and the development teams;

  • Coordinate with the component POs to define the steps/ plans that are needed to deliver the end-to-end implementation and integration of a requirements;

  • Lead the execution of the agreed plans and remove upcoming impediments or escalate if it cannot be solved on this level;

  • Reporting line to the CPO of the project.

Education:

  • Have a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;

  • Certified Product Owner is a plus.

Technical skills:

  • Strong Software engineering background;

  • Ownership & commitment to product success;

  • Ask why & how from design and product development teams and document the decision taken from that information;

  • Willingness to get in depth product knowledge and understand the technical composition of it;

  • Excellent understanding of preparing backlog and prioritization of topics.

Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking & problem solving; 

  • Superior networker and a team player with “can do” attitude;

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to different teams and personality types and to moderate between them;

  • Structured way of working, teamwork and willingness to take responsibility; 

  • Advanced skills in English spoken and written.
