We are looking for a Dell EMC Technical BDM to be stationed at the Logicom Distribution offices in Bucharest, Romania. The role requires the successful candidate to be involved in the promotion and sales of the vendor technologies and products to customers in Romania.
Responsibilities
- Keeps up with Vendor technological trends and presales certifications to ensure a high level of technological awareness and understanding.
- Works closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business.
- Works closely with customers to understand and capture requirements.
- Works closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions.
- Supporting partners and internal sales team with technical configurations, configuring in Dell EMC tools.
- Prepares the Products’ price list.
- Works closely with Dell EMC BU Lead to ensure an optimal stock and a constant stock management activity.
- In coordination with sales, replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
- Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values and advantages.
- Coordination and organization of demand generating activities like tradeshows, events or customer workshops.
- Ensures that customers are aware, informed and trained on Dell EMC technologies and products.
- Ensures understanding of Dell EMC operations and ability to support the operational side of the business.
Qualifications
- University Graduate in IT, Engineering or related field
- Master’s degree in IT, Engineering or other related field will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience preferably with DELL or with another similar Vendor.
- Experience in infrastructure solutions is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Teamwork skills. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Aptitude in problem-solving and general analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Professional English and Romanian languages both verbally and in writing
