Did you know that Bosch develops systems for the Railways industry?
We use the same sensors from the automotive industry (Radar, Video and a Rail Control Unit) and we adapt the software for the tramways.
The Tram Forward Collision Waring (TFCW) detects pedestrians and bicyclists and gives a warning to the tram driver. It even breaks the tram if a collision is unavoidable, because it is “Invented for Life”!

Your responsibilities:
Shape the future: Technical sales manager for railway projects (collision warning and brake assist systems);
Observe and think ahead: Develop go-to market strategy based on regional market needs, in alignment and support from headquarters in Germany;
Take responsibility: Establish sustainable customer base and provide technical support & expertise to customers with support from headquarters in Germany and from Bosch Engineering Center in Cluj;
Use your creativity and freedom: Built market awareness incl. pricing, support concept and logistics draft for the assigned regions. Evaluate local technical, legal and approval requirements incl. initial contact to required authorities;
Experience cooperation: Built industry network to major conferences, shows, potential distributors, etc.
Networked communication: Coordination with platform engineering in Abstatt/Germany and Cluj;
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's engineering degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering or natural science (or comparable), Faculty of economics
Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience with railway products, Rail industry insights
Personality:
- Highly self-motivated, results oriented, Resilient
Qualification:
- Project and Customer Relation Management skills, Contract Negotiations skills
Languages:
- Good English (verbal and written), German or/and Hungarian would be a plus;
