Generic IT Services and User Experience (GIT-UX) is a department within NXP IT and has the mission to Secure NXP Growth by delivering Agile, Reliable and Secure IT products and Services against and at benchmark costs, investing in a workforce that drives value for our customers.
Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is responsible for executing the Modern Workplace programs that enable NXP’s engineering and non-engineering users to securely work, communicate and collaborate wherever they work. DWS is focused on the technology framework, vendor management, policies and optimizing costs for Workplace services, Collaboration and Unified Communications products. We manage end to end PC fleet services, mobile device management, enabling employee engagement via broadcast, digital signage, Intranet and supporting collaboration via multiple channels of voice, chat, video conferencing, document sharing, e-mail, enterprise search and social communities.
Within this role you will be responsible for the security solutions that apply for the workplace area. Examples are Microsoft LAPS, Admin by request (LTAR), Privileged Access Workstation, Hello for Business, Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and Microsoft Bitlocker. Within this role you will:
- Take ownership of Workplace security solutions and recommend solutions that improves the user experience, system stability and increase productivity
- Research, evaluate, and recommend current and emerging tools, techniques, and technologies as related to WPS security solutions
- Manage WPS security standards strategy and integration with applications
- Analyze, refine, and further develop the new security solutions initial implementation according to industry best practice
- Lead efforts to document and share technical knowledge within team and with other support teams
- Works with product teams to define requirements and help assure the system evolves to meet the real needs of the stakeholders
- University degree with IT orientation and 5+ years of system administration work experience in workplace security.
- Experienced with Microsoft technologies such as ATP and Hello for business
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience in designing and deploying enterprise level IT infrastructure solutions within multinational organizations
- Structured, analytical and logical mindset.
- Solid experience in the field of technical documentation and the ability to present complex interrelationships in an easy and understandable way.
- Constant desire to improve the status quo, to learn about and discover new things.
- Experience with acting between business & IT service organization, being persuasive when required.
