When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do everyday.Position Summary:Support component management for all projects handled in Bucharest including ordering, distribution, inventory and software updates (flashing).Job Responsibilities:Support the distribution of samples and related components for all projects in Bucharest.Initiate and monitor procurement of components and required partsSupport and track parts ordering processSupport the distribution of test benchesParticipate in the production planning of various component samples together with the project PMs and the team leader.Support software update for adjacent componentsSupport software update (final flash) for head unitsCreate and complete customer functional tests as requiredPreferred qualifications:Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.SAP knowledge is an advantageKnowledge of ordering process and supplier handling is an advantageKnowledge of components used in automotive projects is an advantageBasic knowledge of embedded software and systems is an advantage. Basic knowledge of Linux commands an advantage Eligibility requirements:Willingness to work in our Bucharest office.Willingness to travel 10% of timeOther requirements:Ability to be highly organised and multi-taskAbility to take initiative and communicate wellExcellent task and time management skillsWork flexibilityReliable and trustworthyAnalytical and critical thinkerWillingness to learn and to take on new responsibilities
