All in a leadership of top-notch experts and specialists from every domain.Overall Objective of the RoleWe are looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our team.As today’s cars contain advanced hardware and software platforms that can connect to the outside world, securing the vehicle requires much more than securing each of the modules in the car – it requires new concepts that look at the vehicle’s entire architecture. Together with the world’s leading car manufacturer, our Partner manages the connected car security concept development and system architecture – designing the car of the future.Our Partner is an international, growing cybersecurity company looking for creative and proactive individuals to develop security concepts and security architecture for the automotive industry.Responsibilities Requirements analysis for vehicular security architecture and structured requirements definition.Design of state-of-the-art security controls in collaboration with key engineers from Germany’s leading car manufacturer.Definition of end-to-end security architectures and best practices, in-vehicle and in the cloud.Presentation and harmonization of security architecture design with diverse stakeholders.Review of risk analyses, penetration tests, and supplier security concepts.Investigation of relevant technological innovation in the field of IT security for connected cars. RequirementsMust Have: B.Sc. Computer Science, electrical engineering, or related fields.At least 3 years of relevant experience.Experience in at least one of the following fields: automotive security, IoT security, embedded security, secure design, cloud architecture.Ability to understand how the threats work, how the attacks are built and how the mitigations work.Ability to perform risk analysis / threat modeling and propose mitigations.Proficiency in using the CIA and/or STRIDE models.Excellent English skills (reading, writing, speaking).Capability to lead independently small to medium-sized projects.Independent, creative, motivated and result driven.Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills. Nice to Have: Technical certifications (IREB, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CompTia Security+, etc.).Familiar with TARA methodology.Solution design.Knowledge in the field of programming and software architecture.Excellent German skills (reading, writing, speaking).
