The Gig
GoPro is looking for a Digital Production Designer to join our Bucharest office. They will work mostly remote to support the Advertising team based at our Headquarters in San Mateo. The Digital Production Designer role is critical in ensuring the success of promotional and digital marketing campaigns. We’re looking for creative design solutions across multiple platforms including social and display advertising. The right candidate will have foundational design skills with a passion to work across mediums and multi-media.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of digital production and experience working on promotional advertising programs. Someone with strong typographic and layout skills, a keen attention to detail, outstanding file organization, as well as exporting and archiving skills are a must. This is a role for someone with experience in building multi-touchpoint creative for DTC and social advertising. As part of a small newly forming group, this person must work well independently and cross-functionally in order to manage promotional creative.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with art directors, designers and developers in Advertising to create, manage and deploy digital promotional creative throughout our global markets.
- Work with the Promotions Wolf Pack to manage urgent changes by revising and editing PSD master files for campaign statics, and simple editing and exporting of related videos.
- Work with web team, other marketing teams and agency partners.
- Manage dynamic design systems for static applications.
Skills We’re Stoked About
- 5+ years experience working for a consumer electronics or modern brand or agency on digital ecosystems.
- Adobe CC skills including Photoshop, with basic knowledge of Premier or AfterEffects earning bonus points.
- Experience executing communication hierarchy across digital ad sizes.
- Experience with digital content such as social media and online advertising campaigns.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- High taste level for design aesthetic and hierarchy.
- Experience executing design throughout multi-touch experiences.
- Writing skills and plus.
- An eye for photo selection.
- An eager approach to following design trends.
