The candidate will support our team to meet the growing demands from our clients for support on oil & gas and renewable energy projects. The Naval Architect/Marine Engineer will work as part of a team and perform duties including but not limited to design, review, calculations, and analysis for various Naval Architectural elements pertaining to Offshore/Marine structures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare design analyses, concept, and detail, for various fixed / floating offshore structures in accordance with international codes and standards. Conduct calculations for design and plan appraisal purposes. Assessing stability of offshore/marine structures. Ensure projects meet client requirements and classification rules and regulations. Responsible for deliverables to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs, HSE and in accordance with the quality standards established by Aqualis Braemar and/or the Client. Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required. Ensure all deliverables are carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures. Participate in design reviews, audits, and Naval Architectural related reviews. Evaluate and prepare concept selection reports and basis for design. Complete other duties as assigned. The role is based in Constanta, Romania, and the applicant will have the right to work and reside in Romania. Local and international travel may occasionally be required. It is anticipated that travel will be around 10% of the working time. What we are looking for. We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented professional with good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal effectively with multiple issues and assignments. The successful candidate will have great interpersonal skills and a global mindset. In addition, you will: Possess full proficiency in English with the ability to deliver accurate and high-quality technical reports on time. Have at least 3 years of relevant experience within the industry. Be a Chartered Engineer or equivalent with considerable design/marine consultancy-related experience and/or training; or equivalents combination of education and experience. Have a solid understanding of a wide range of Marine Engineering aspects. Be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. What is in it for you?
