The project is about creating a new application for Drilling Engineering. Drilling wells that During drilling, we measure in real-time the drill bit position, the type of rocks and fluids penetrated. This data is continuous transmitted to the surface for analysis to make drilling decisions. High mechanical loads occur and at all times the limits of the drill string nor of the rock formation can be exceeded. Therefore, every wellbore is modeled in detail and the expected conditions are simulated. What do you need to start?Strong programming skills in C++ (5+ years of experience);Experience with development in a LINUX/UNIX environment;Developing in C++ 17 is a plus; knowledge of C++ 14 is welcome, too;Extensive background in building highly scalable, performant, and low-latency systems;Upper-intermediate level of English, verbal and written. It's not essential but we appreciate if you also have:OPC UA is a big plus;Understanding of network & security protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, DHCP/DNS, TLS, Active Directory/LDAP, SAML). What are you going to do?Be part of a Scrum team working in a new application creation;Take end-to-end ownership for dedicated service;Participate in a complete development life cycle starting with understanding various functional requirements, understand, refine, and develop functional specifications for high throughput to maintain the systems easily;Influence the features and direction of both the product and the platform with your own ideas;Contribute to the successful project delivery;Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits;Actively participate in research, discussions, and decisions on software architecture and internal coding, architectural process, and other standards;Implement, review, support, and debug required content.
