Nearly half of our team is based in Poland (CKEditor). We are currently seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development team of our globally used product, ButterCMS. Location : Remote or hybrid/onsite (Warsaw or Poznań, Poland) Your new role: As a Senior Technical Product Manager in the ButterCMS team, you will be at the forefront of driving the development and enhancement of our key product - ButterCMS. Your role involves liaising between the technical team and commercial units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with market demands and customer needs. Key responsibilities: Define and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps based on customer needs and market research. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide products from conception to launch. Bridge the technical and business worlds, engaging with customers to gather insights and translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans. Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maximize product success. Oversee the full product lifecycle, including concept, specification, design, release, and post-release activities. To be successful in this role you need the following: Proven experience as a software engineer, with at least two years in Python/Django and JavaScript. Comfort with speaking and writing in English. Proven experience in managing IT product strategy and communication (preferred: experience with CMS/Headless CMS platforms). Great collaboration and teamwork abilities with a 'hands-on' approach. Familiarity with user experience best practices. Comfort with interacting with clients and understanding their needs. Excellent communication skills and a decision-making approach. Ability to work collaboratively across the organization including sales and customer success to gather customer insights. Eagerness to go deep into product knowledge and technical choices. Ready and able to work in an international environment (team across Poland, Europe, and the US). Flexibility with various technical tasks to support the team (e.g., reviewing documentation, integrations with other ecosystems, cooperation with product marketing).
