What You Will Be Doing As part of an Agile team, you will contribute and support the team to deliver its commitments in a predictable and high-quality way according to the SAFe definition. Support and maintain all testing activities for new features, existing features, or bug fixes. Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan. Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test materials using the provided automation framework. Report and manage manual and automated execution results and document defects using provided tools. Perform backend database testing using SQL. Ensure all tests are completed on time and report any deviations promptly. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications. Hold and facilitate test case reviews with business analysts and developer team members. Identify and propose improvements and enhancements to working practices. Participate in sprint planning and provide details on testing tasks and effort required to validate user stories. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on tasks. Attend iteration planning, backlog refinements, iteration review, and retrospective meetings. Work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure that acceptance criteria are met. Support the implementation of process improvements identified during retrospectives. What You Bring A can-do attitude and a sense of responsibility for software engineering implications. Experience in software testing with a strong background in back-end testing and knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA process. Good understanding of requirements. Ability to demonstrate the team's work in front of other teams and stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and quick learning ability. Strong analytical skills to solve business or production problems. Ability to make decisions with limited information and effectively communicate them to development and test teams. Collaborative, supportive, and a proactive team player. Responsive, assertive, and dedicated to continuous improvement. Passionate about sharing knowledge and best practices. Ability to work in virtual teams across multiple locations. Relevant experience of at least 7 years. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Tech Stack Wanted Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, UPDATE). Basic knowledge of Linux (monitoring processes, checking logs, etc.). Experience with log monitoring tools (Splunk, Kibana, etc.). Basic knowledge of Jenkins (building and running jobs). Proven experience working with testing tracker tools (Rally, HP ALM, JIRA). (Nice to have) Experience with Cucumber testing tool. Added Bonus If You Have Experience working with UNIX/Linux systems. Experience working with message-based applications. Java automation experience. Understanding and experience with Agile working practices. Business knowledge of payment systems.
