In order to support the Serial Life Management department in our E-mobility plant in Hunedoara, we are looking for a Strategic Capacity and Layout who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Tasks:

• Responsible for the factory for the execution of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for all projects / products in the Hunedoara factory and for the elaboration of (detailed) layouts based on the VSM results;
• Supporting the implementation and extension of the planning standards initiated by the central Lean and Performance Management department;
• Facilitating and moderating layout-related discussions and workshops;
• Provision of technical parameters for capacity planning, including: updates to cycle times, changes to machinery, changes in production concepts;
• Assessment of engineering change requests (ECRs) in collaboration with the central Manufacturing Footprint department, with a focus on capacity implications (e.g. volume increases);
• Conducting and analyzing basic capacity assessments together with the central Manufacturing Footprint department;
• Main focus on machines with recurring configuration capability (e.g. tool changes);
• Design of detailed layouts for industrialization projects using AutoCAD;
• Development and proposal of concepts for optimizing the plant layout;
• Visualization and documentation of production and material flow concepts;
• Identifying and discussing possible improvements in material flow, stock levels, and buffer zones.

Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical field;
• Between 5 to 7 years experience in a similar position in the automotive sector;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
• Lean Management Methods and principles, Six Sigma Green Belt;
• Basic knowledge of MTM;
• Advanced knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of German is an advantage;
• Communication, work in cross functional teams skills, process oriented thinking and very good analytical and proactivity skills.
