- Qualifications:
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience as Software developer
- Skilled in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using appropriate chosen language;
- Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members;
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts;
- Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices;
- Have worked in an environment where developers have written tests and shared ownership of code
- Experience working with Node.js or PHP laravel;
- Excellent of developing projects based on RDMS, or NoSQL databases;
- Ability to work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) ensuring the reliability of the services;
- Experience building and working with Microservices solution architecture;
- Experience with test-driven development / feature-driven development;
- Ability to document technical requirements and specifications; Previous experience with Git or source control;
- Wide understanding and knowledge of the Travel & Tourism industry is a major plus;
