How could you help us do this?
We need a Financial Analyst to join our Bucharest team to help us ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Also, you will gather financial data and perform financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions).
What kind of work would you be doing?
·Provide complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business;
·Establish and maintain close relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making;
·Provide analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business;
·Support policy and process improvement and identify opportunities;
·Communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies;
·Drive the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analysing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives;
·Always improving our strategies and keeping ahead of our competitors;

What achievements should you have so far?
·We think in order to add immediate value and to succeed in this role, you should have relevant financial & accounting experience within some sort of corporate environment. Exposure to a tech company would be great, but we are flexible on this!
·Strong knowledge in Polish taxation and accounting policies;
·In order to be able to build meaningful relationships with all of your colleagues in this region, we do need a fluent Polish speaker.
·If you also have a degree in a relevant subject (economic, finance, business operations), great!

·Of course, if you have financial & accounting experience, you will know all about finance principles, practices, tactics and tools.
