Job description
FM Logistic is hiring a Purchasing Manager on a fixed term contract (2 years) in Dudestii Noi office.
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Maintain an up-to-date list of all active suppliers contracts
- Proactively address the contract negotiation/renegotiation needs for those contracts which are either close to expire or have quality challenges
- Maintain a database for reliable vendors to provide quality goods and/or services at the right price
- Constantly follow-up and observe the market trends for the main purchase categories and propose renegotiation opportunities
- Review technical specifications received from operational and functional teams, ask for clarifications/support as needed for successful negotiation closure
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Monitor and forecast upcoming demand level
- Track and report relevant activity KPIs
- Supervise a small team of purchasing specialists
- Ensure that the Corporate guidelines with respect to purchasing process and commercial agreements are known and consistently applied
Profile
- Working experience as Purchasing Manager
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Very good communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
- Solid judgement and decision making skills
- Interest in market dynamics, sound business understanding
Qualification required:
- Bachelor degree
- English medium/advanced
- SAP MM would be an advantage
