Task Areas:
• Development of customer requirements and projects with latest complex technology stacks
• Innovative projects with a very diverse set of tasks in the energy industry
• Specification of software solution concepts including requirements analysis and development of solution proposals
• Analysis and collaboration on varied and challenging architectural topics
• Development of design, architecture and testing of complex software systems and expanding development of existing applications
• Technical coordination with internal and external stakeholders of software projects
• Assuming technical responsibility of software solutions and driving the product forward
• Collaboration with the DevOps team to drive the continuous delivery proces (Microservices in Docker and Kubernetes environments)
Expected Profile:
• Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or natural sciences, e.g. (business) computer science or a comparable education with IT background
• Vast practical experience in software development of Java applications
• Deep Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate as well as experience with Microservice Architectures and working with CI tools (Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Git, etc.)
• Knowledge of Applications Servers (WebSphere or Tomcat)
• Basic knowledge of different database structures (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
• Very good knowledge of English language
Additional desirable requirements:
• Experience with HTML5 (Angular, Typescript)
• Interest in consulting and customer support in the IT environment, preferably with knowledge of the energy supply industry
• Knowledge of German language
• SAP IM4G (Intelligent Metering for German Energy Utilities)
