Your Role
You will work as part of an agile development team with members from Romania and the US to design, estimate, develop and implement software solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
You will work closely with the team on a comprehensive .NET based product consisting of web front ends, back end APIs, and standalone microservices, in a hybrid cloud environment (AWS and private cloud).
General and in-depth experience with Microsoft .NET concepts are a must, in addition to strong knowledge of relational databases, APIs, and front-end technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C# and ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Windows services, and T-SQL for data persistence and retrieval.
- Write readable, extensible, testable code while being mindful of performance requirements
- Create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and existing code to deliver defect-free and well-tested code to QA
- Conduct design and code reviews and collaborate to ensure your own code passes review
- Leverage our Cloud infrastructure (AWS) to engineer solutions that make the best of it
- Adhere to best practice development standards

We are looking for a senior .NET full-stack Software Developer with AWS experience to join the team in Bucharest, Romania.
Your expertise
- Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience with .NET technologies
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles
- Proficient in C# and Microsoft .Net framework (ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, ADO.NET)
- Experience using front-end Web technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, VueJS)
- Experience with development for AWS and using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, SNS, SQS, ECS, EC2
- Expertise with JSON and RESTful Web Services
- Good understanding of a relational database engine such as SQL Server
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
- Experience with modern software development life-cycle
- Speak and write fluently in English
It’s a bonus if you also have
- Experience developing VueJS web applications
- Experience using Python
- Experience with performance profiling of .NET web applications
- Experience with GIT and GIT flows
- Financial services background
