As a result of our international expansion we are looking for a Software Developer MES to join our team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Demonstrated knowledge of Java programming (ABAP is a plus)
- Knowledge of ME/MII reporting tool (SSCE) is helpful
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in an international team located in different places
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement new software programs to support the supply chain processes (Manufacturing Execution – specially SAP ME/MII)
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending improvements to existing software programs and processes as necessary
