This role’s primary focus is the development, definition and deployment of software solutions for our products, whilst ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from and to these products.Responsibilities:Design, development and delivery of the company’s core platform and cloud applications, making sure our applications function properly (including scalability, efficiency, resilience, fault tolerance and data security techniques)Work closely with other engineers & designers, product owners, and other team members to implement complex end-to-end systemsUse technical skills to close the gaps between new requirements and the WorldSensing productsDeployment of the software solutions in cloud servers and (eventually) gateways in the fieldBuild reusable code and libraries for future useRigorous commitment to documentation, quality engineering, testing, and supportMentor and guide junior developers both in technical and soft-skill mattersRequirements5+ years of software development experience, both in backend and frontend applications3+ years of Python2+ years with React is desiredExperience with C/C++, Java, and TypeScript is a plusExperience with advanced programming frameworks and paradigmsGood experience with Linux environmentsDeployment of applications on-premise and on cloud (Rackspace, Google Cloud...)Experience with Docker and KubernetesBasic networking knowledgeProficient understanding of code versioning tools, preferably GitYou're passionate about IoT & technical challenges. There should be something you know more about than anyone on our teamStrong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to resolve challenging situationsYou communicate with clarity and precision.
