Sr. Transition Manager in Oradea

Purpose Statement: Responsible for working with the Manufacturing Transition Manager to successfully transition new products into Plexus manufacturing. A transition request can come from a new customer or Plexus – Technology Group. The product will typically be transitioned from the customer’s current contract manufacturer; the customer’s own manufacturing facility or be a new design. Responsible for transitioning an existing customer’s new product program which is deemed too large for the Plexus customer team to manage. Key Job Accountabilities: Effectively mentors the team resources and leads programs to a successful conclusion. This includes partnering with multiple stakeholders to identify solutions to meet the customer's needs. It is also important to partner with PLXS-ENG, PLXS-MFG, AMS/SS supply chain, and third party suppliers to ensure programs are successfully introduced into Plexus Manufacturing Solutions sites. Client Relationship Management - Program responsibility for client transitions - works closely with CM/CD/BDD/MS organisations to win new or grow existing business; serves as transition program subject matter expert. Direct the development and execution of effective customer transition plans, facilitating cross functional teams (both internal and external) to ensure efficient, detailed, and timely client transition execution. Continuous Improvement - Analyzes and recommends program specific improvements. Identify Commercialisation opportunities and align with Plexus functions to deploy customer solutions. Support Transition Management staff and be personally responsible to deliver Transition Programs to achieve Project KPI's such as Scope, Time and Cost. Additional Accountabilities: Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business Additional duties as assigned. Education/Experience Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or Technical/Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Three (3) years of related experience is required; Three (3) to Five (5) years of related experience is preferred. The NPM must be bi-lingual with English as the secondary language for positions held outside the United States. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered. Other Qualifications: Intermediate Computer Skills. Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and team skills are required. Must have exceptional organizational, written and verbal skills. A general knowledge of manufacturing, business, finance and program management is required; related contract manufacturing experience is preferred. Computer, presentation and mentoring skills are necessary to be successful in this position. General office equipment and materials.
