Each of these sectors encounters critical sustainability challenges, and our clients, spanning these and numerous other areas, rely on our expertise to operate more sustainably, thus positively impacting our planet.ERM is seeking a motivated (Senior) Environmental, Health & Safety Consultant to join our team in Bucharest.Location: Bucharest, RomaniaJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeAbout the role:The main responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:Managing or coordinating small or medium-sized projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects – as ERM works closely with some of the world’s largest organizations, we anticipate that this role will require close collaboration with our regional and global environmental and social performance teams.Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposalsUnderstanding the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the clients’ business modelEstablishing strong working relationships with clients through project deliveryMaking use of effective working relationships with business units and participating in global technical communities to ensure a strong network of resourcesRemaining up to date with external market and client industry trendsSharing expertise and knowledge within the business unit and/or global practice areaUnderstanding how the work of the project team or practice community contributes to ERM’s successAbout You:University degree/ Master of Science in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, Planning and Development or a related discipline;Experience in environmental impact assessment of major investment projectsFluency in Romanian, Hungarian and English.
