Its expertise and closely managed supply chain have been behind some of Damen’s most important deliveries to date, fully illustrating the group’s diverse product portfolio.The roleWe would like to offer you the opportunity to join our team as a Technician in the Job Preparation Office.In this position, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to our technical processes.If you are an enthusiastic, team player and eager to contribute to the development of technical processes in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this position and become part of our growing team.Key accountabilities• Drawing up documentation and cutting machine programs for various materials such as plates, profiles, and pipes.• Analyzing and managing existing material stocks to ensure efficient production flow.• Issuing material derogations within established competency limits.• Providing technical assistance to production departments to solve the technical problems encountered.• Analyzing and proposing solutions to various problems encountered in the vessel construction process.• Establishing execution plans and workflow to ensure efficient production.• Calculating and allocating materials in the ERP system according to production requirements.• Identify parts that can be subcontracted and draw up subcontract addresses.Skills & experience• High School degree / Batchlor Degree.• Knowledge of MS Office, Autocad / DraftSight;• English - intermediate level, both reading and writing;• Experience in coordination/planning activities - an advantage.• Creativity to find innovative solutions to technical problems;• Adaptability to adapt to changes in the work environment;• Knowledge of technological processes on the production flow;• Communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues in various departments;• Ability to plan and organize to effectively manage work tasks.
