Purpose Statement: Responsible for the coordination and development of a master production schedule. Coordinate this schedule with the customer focused team to optimize customer satisfaction, meet desired inventory levels and support the site revenue plan.Key Job Accountabilities:Review all engineering change order activity for impact on current schedule including both open and planned work orders and coordinates shortage resolution. Ensure demand planning inputs and outputs properly reflect the updated configuration and impacted.Review and approve all customer demand prior to entering into MRP. Analyze and update changes in accordance to the customer contract in a timely manner.Review all changes in demand and determine material availability (“what if”). Work closely with customer team to revise the production schedule. Generate MRP and ensure the output is valid prior to releasing the Purchasing team.Ensure that the production schedule is clearly communicated to the Focused Factory Group Leaders and other applicable parties, same with changes to the schedule (i.e. Pull-ins, Push-outs, ECO’s, etc.).Maintain the integrity of the work order schedule and firming of work orders based on PO coverage and material availability. Monitor the schedule and notify customer team of potential problems meeting customer demand.Additional Accountabilities:Manage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) Inventory in accordance with the E&O process and provide analysis to the Customer Team to help resolve E&O Inventory. Approve all Engineering Change Notices, determine impact to the Master Production Schedule, and communicate the impact to the Customer Team. Generate key information for the financial forecasting process and be able to rationalize as compared to the loaded sales orders and forecast.Perform "What-if" analysis of materials and capacity with purchasing and manufacturing based upon potential demand changes and provide feedback to the customer team upon the analysis.Maintain scheduling and demand history files for each MPS / MRP.Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and lean projects for Materials and Manufacturing as assigned.Update and maintain all demand planning metrics and additional metrics as assigned by the Materials Team Manager. Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 5%).Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field is preferred.Four (4) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications: Working knowledge of MPS/MRP systemsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel General office equipment and materialsWork Environment:The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
