Job DescriptionProject Manager is responsible for coordination of the construction process of our store projects, from initial project planning and preparation throughout to the project finishing date.You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M Group standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues for all brands.You act in line with our Values and Leadership Expectations. You contribute to our business success for all brands by being results driven, business minded and a team player; a role model for H&M Group.The scope includes:Projects management (new store openings / rebuilds / consolidations) across the countries within the Sales MarketCoordination of all procedures to ensure smooth continuance of projectsManage the layout and design process to ensure conformance to H&M strategic goalsConstruction project investmentManaging project permit process with authorities to receive all necessary permits for the openingSupport Construction and Facility Manager in selecting local suppliers according to H&M’s Procurement guidelinesManage tender process for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and suppliers in accordance with H&M procurement guidelines and company best practicesCommunication, cooperation with other teams, departments e.g. concerning project schedules, cost follow up, layout, security, IT, store planners, staff needs etc.Participates in onsite construction meetings and site supervisionCoordinates all project related information to support office team, facility dept., store manager, area manager, DC, etc.Policies and routines:Regular updates of internal company systems to ensure correct project administrationEnsures compliance with H&M standards, building codes and regulations and Health and Safety codesEvaluations of contractor’s performance to ensure optimization in efficiency, cost and qualityEnsure that all project documentation is updated and filled inHandover all information needed to the project to Facility ManagementSupports Construction and Facility Manager with the research and implementation of constant innovation within the departmentProfitability: work according to the general guidelines to ensure the most efficient construction planFollow up and inform Construction and Facility Manager on the progress and financial development of the projectOptimize pre-planning to minimize installation, labor, material and other related costsEnsure invoices are consistent with commitments and paid in a timely mannerAnalyze and optimize structure that could bring economic interest to the companyQualificationsTo be successful in the role you are a result driven, strategic, analytical and business minded with leadership skills.
