Senior Test Automation Engineer in Constanţa

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. This is a key role that will allow you to have a  big impact on the entire application . You will have  ownership over test engineering from start to finish. Design test plans, follow your best testing processes, create plans for upcoming releases, and more! Ideally, you have experience in test automation and an in-depth understanding of QA best practices. You will be responsible for supporting engineering teams by developing and implementing automation test strategies. Will be responsible for mentoring and guiding other team members on automation testing practices and methodologies. Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining automation code for all test stages in a CI/CD pipeline environment to enhance test coverage and efficiency  Defining and maintaining living documentation for test strategies, structure, and best practices Defining and creating test cases and test plans for automation Providing reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues Participating in code reviews to ensure testability, maintainability, and scalability of automated test scripts Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and techniques Mentoring and support to other software testers (three-person team). The successful candidate will ideally have: Knowledge of  programming language (Javascript preferable) 5+ years of experience working with commercial web applications - manual and automated testing Hands-on experience in  test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress or Playwright) Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation needed for interacting with web elements and performing actions Knowledge of  Page Object Pattern  modeling In-depth knowledge of topics like software quality, type and techniques of tests, product lifecycle, and bug reporting Good level of both written and spoken English Team player attitude with well-developed communication skills.  Preferred :  Hands-on experience with  Jmeter/SoapUI   Familiarity with  containerization technologies  like Docker for running Cypress tests in isolated environments and ensuring consistent test execution across different environments At least basic knowledge of code versioning tools (GIT) Experience in working with  CI/CD Knowledge of test reporting tools for generating detailed test reports, analyzing results, and tracking testing metrics over time.
