Sourcing MRO & Facilities categories - Manager - English in Bucuresti

Responsibilities The Global Category Manager (GCM) is a member of the Global Indirect Procurement Team and has accountability for spend within the; MRO & Facilities, Travel and MICE globally (including overarching accountability for sub-Categories within the given Category). The role holder will be expected to provide deep domain and market insights to purchasing within the above categories of spend and have a proven track record of building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships within a diverse organizational ecosystem. This role will report into a Client Global Category Leader and will be considered an extended member of the Global Indirect Procurement Team. • Strategic Planning – development of long term, sustainable strategic category plans for the entire spend within a business unit, region or globally. Ensure alignment between global category team strategy and local Country teams• Relationship management – ensure that category strategies are highly aligned to current and future business needs and the supply base is capable of supporting these strategies• Implementation the Category plan(s) – ensure that the underpinning process improvement and procurement activities deliver the expected business value in accordance with the strategic plans, global processes, systems and governance• Work with the relevant Global Category Leaders to ensure that sourcing and supplier decisions are in line with the broader category plan and business strategy• Develop a preferred supplier list for the category / sub-category / niche service within the category of spend• Work with the Global Category Lead and business stakeholder(s), identify and resolve compliance issues in respect of usage of preferred suppliers and as appropriate, conduct supplier business review meetings in support of category strategy• Work with relevant Global/Regional Category Leader(s) to ensure a fully integrated and customer-aligned organization-wide category plan• Track performance and reporting across the category using the assigned systems and processes (knowledge of PerAngusta would be an advantage)• Develop, review, negotiate and execute complex business agreements and contracts. Apply extensive knowledge of complex contract and purchase orders to resolve differences with suppliers and develop and advise on appropriate procurement strategies and tactics for negotiations - advise on bid evaluation approach and analysis in support of supplier selection processes• Advise on the revision of procurement practices to ensure their conformance with established laws. • Advise on appropriate methods and strategies for cost reduction, cost avoidance, cost containment programs (as needed) • Analyze and resolve issues raised in procurement audit reports • Advise on the development of the appropriate sourcing approach based on the analysis of historic and forecasted spend data, supply market information and business stakeholder requirements. (previous experience of using Rosslyn Analytics system would be an advantage)• Resolve quality problems with suppliers and user departments and develop measurements for improvement and target setting• Advise on appropriate approach to supplier inquiries, protests and appeals and respond to any escalated issues • Coordinate the introduction of new and modified products and services with appropriate departments.• Where relevant, work with other Category Managers within Global Indirect Procurement team to ensure all the above activities take place via the relevant sub-category or Country teamsQualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications • Good knowledge of English language (speaking and writing), C1 level or better• Procurement experience demonstrating a consistent track record of delivery of successful sourcing projects• Relevant sourcing experience and proven MRO & Facilities categories expertise is a must• Relevant project management experience• Previous experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment (represents and advantage)• MS Excel capability and ability to do build cost and saving models with multiple “What If” scenarios• Outstanding customer service orientation• Proactive and resourceful in solving problems• Highly organized and able to multitask, able to work with multiple projects• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision • Able to organize own work, able to work under pressure to meet priorities and deadlines • Good coordination skills, ability to work effectivelyPreferred Qualifications • Exposure to reviewing and understanding Dun & Bradstreet reports, Credit Scoring methods represents an advantage for future candidates• Exposure to ERP and other procurement systems (SAP / Ariba / PerAngusta / Rosslyn (spend analytics) and Celonis)• Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean Concepts What can we offer? • Attractive salary;• Stable job offers - employment contract• Work in a multicultural and diverse environment with employees from over 30 countries• Genpact supports professional trainings and great career development opportunities• Free access to our award-winning learning platform • Benefits such as Meal Tickets, Medical Services, Insurance, additional vacation days or partner discounts
