Start your adventure with ALTER SOLUTIONS!The IT Administrator will be responsible for: Administration of arrays. Administration of array virtualisers.Administration of Storage Area Network based on Brocade switches.Administration of AIX based systems.We are looking for a person who has:Good knowledge of storage solutions: block, NAS and deduplicatorsGood knowledge of issues such as tiering and virtualisation of storage, data replication between Data Centres.Experience in the configuration of NAS devices.Knowledge of Storage Area Network technology, ability to map access, ZONE configuration in SANs.Nice to have:Experience in administering cluster solutions: RHCS, PowerHA, VMWare High Availability.Experience with Networker and Avamar backup system.Experience of configuring LPAR, VIOS on IBM Power servers.Familiarity with Solaris.
