Responsibilities Define and design the AI/ML technical stack, including selecting appropriate frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support the organization's AI/ML initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize AI/ML use cases based on their strategic value, feasibility, and potential impact on the organization. Lead the development of AI/ML Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions. Work closely with business units, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives. Translate business needs into technical AI/ML solutions. Provide expert guidance and consultancy on AI/ML best practices, methodologies, and approaches. Collaborate with stakeholders to design AI/ML solutions that align with business goals. Oversee the development and training of machine learning models, ensuring they meet performance, accuracy, and scalability requirements. Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers on model design and implementation. Develop and implement a data strategy, including data acquisition, preparation, and management, to support AI/ML initiatives. Plan and architect the AI/ML infrastructure, including cloud resources, data storage, and compute clusters, to support the deployment of models at scale. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of deployed AI/ML solutions, identifying areas for improvement in model accuracy, speed, and resource utilization. Maintain detailed documentation of AI/ML architecture, models, and workflows. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization to enhance AI/ML proficiency. Stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends, technologies, and research. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of learning and innovation. Assess and recommend third-party AI/ML tools and services that can enhance the organization's capabilities. Evaluate vendor solutions for compatibility and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, Data Science, and business units, to ensure successful AI/ML project implementations. Requirements Experience in work environments such as Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development and data-related roles. Strong expertise in Python, including the ability to develop and maintain complex AI/ML codebases. Proficiency in working within UNIX environments is essential. Hands-on experience in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as containerization using Docker, for streamlined development and deployment processes. Mandatory experience working with Large Language Models (LLM), showcasing competence in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying models like GPT-3 or similar. Familiarity with at least one of the following is a plus: Prompt Engine Patterns, Vector DB, or Sabre Integration. While not mandatory, expertise in any of these areas is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills related to working with unstructured data sets. Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization techniques, is essential for effective data manipulation and analysis. A deep understanding of the complete machine learning model lifecycle, including data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
