The AMG Supervisor is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and controlling all activities within the assigned production area, ensuring quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team and processes. The role ensures delivery of operational results in line with customer requirements, logistical contracts, forecast, and internal standards, while developing and motivating the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Production Management

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and control the production process in an efficient and effective manner to meet customer requirements according to the logistics contract and forecast

  • Ensure proper organization and planning of work within the AMG platform

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor daily employee activities to achieve production plans

  • Coordinate and/or participate in daily AMG / AMC operational meetings

  • Manage operational issues within own area of responsibility and ensure delivery of results in line with internal standards

  • Has the authority to stop production lines in case of any identified or reported non‑conformity

2. Performance Monitoring & SQDCM Indicators

  • Monitor and analyze daily production indicators in line with SQDCM, including but not limited to:

    • Incidents / Accidents

    • External / Internal complaints

    • DMPU, LMPU

    • OEE

    • NPH

    • W&S

    • Contract realization

    • Absenteeism

    • Jidoka, etc.

  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of reported data

Initiate, implement, and follow up on corrective actions resulting from performance analysis

3. Quality & Process Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procedures

  • Initiate corrective actions in case of:

    • Increased scrap levels

    • Excessive errors identified during final inspection or additional control processes

  • Ensure proper completion and approval of SWIs by team leaders

  • Ensure resolution of issues related to work instructions reported by AMTs or other involved parties

  • Perform AS 67 audits according to the defined plan

  • Support continuous improvement of the APS rating

4. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Participate in problem‑solving teams (continuous improvement initiatives, launches, 8D analyses, etc.)

  • Analyze, track, and follow up on the implementation and effectiveness of improvement actions

  • Participate in or facilitate workshops and projects related to AMG activities

5. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Organize and monitor the activity of Shift Coordinators

  • Communicate clearly and directly with team members to ensure understanding and alignment with company objectives

  • Motivate, continuously evaluate, and develop direct reports

  • Perform standard ART periodic performance evaluations

  • Apply onboarding and development procedures at AMG level

  • Apply disciplinary procedures in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) and Internal Regulations

6. Resource, Equipment & Cost Management

  • Ensure proper use of machines and equipment within the area of responsibility and maintain them in optimal condition

  • Manage orders related to the assigned cost center in line with the approved budget

  • Monitor the level of project control for individual production-related projects

  • Participate in the acceptance and validation of additional or new production centers

  • Ensure and maintain proper selective waste collection

7. Logistics, Traceability & Cross‑Functional Communication

  • Monitor component management activities within the production process, including:

    • Traceability

    • Inventory accuracy

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with Quality and Logistics departments regarding all relevant production information

8. Reporting & Operational Governance

  • Prepare and provide reports to the Operations Manager whenever requested

  • Report and consolidate weekly QOS indicators and objectives defined in the Development Policy

  • Ensure consistent delivery of operational results in line with internal standards
