Our data organization is structured into verticals focusing on specific business domains, supporting reporting and analytical needs. Each vertical comprises data analysts, data engineers, BI specialists, platform engineers, and ML engineers. Clusters of similar domains are formed, and as an Analytics Manager, you'll lead our operations data cluster, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business success. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a high-performance team, overseeing daily tasks, weekly milestone planning, one-on-one meetings, quarterly objectives, and bi-annual performance evaluations. Strategic Leadership: Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, anticipate future trends, drive innovation through data, and provide visionary guidance to shape the organization's analytics roadmap. Data Vision: Support and contribute to the team’s leadership in defining and operationalizing processes and initiatives that align with the data vision. Collaboration: Establish productive professional relationships with business and product partners. Contribute to weekly meetings to align on cluster and vertical priorities and challenges, lead/support updates, and provide guidance on best practices. Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional leaders through questions, clarifications, idea pitches, and clear status updates. Facilitate negotiations and problem-solving through effective conversations. Domain Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the team's domains, including hands-on experience with data, metrics calculation, data quality issues, business processes, and supporting software products. Project Management: Lead complex, cross-functional and/or cross-domain data projects involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies. Supervise and communicate progress, resolve issues, allocate resources, and mitigate risks. Documentation: Contribute to data documentation, ensuring all projects are documented and updating the knowledge base with relevant information. Analysis and Synthesis: Support data analysts in analysis and synthesis, reviewing their work, and suggesting new ideas. Presentation and Influence: Prepare presentations for stakeholders and leadership, explain technical concepts concisely, and mentor analysts in effective presentation. Use analytical insights to positively influence decision-making. Feedback: Accept and provide objective and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of open communication, growth, and trust within the team. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and improve processes and practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes for increased efficiency and productivity. Apply if you have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics and reporting, with at least 4 years of experience in leading a team of analysts and collaborating with senior business leaders. Strong technical skills in data analysis, statistics, data warehousing, aggregation frameworks, and database management. Familiarity with SQL, Python, and DBT is preferred. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey results and insights to stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to analyze complex data, develop actionable insights, and make informed decisions. Ability to lead and motivate a team, coach them on multiple fronts, delegate tasks, and manage performance. Commitment to continuous learning and innovation, leveraging industry best practices and latest technologies Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
