The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic Tech projects.

Context/Role

We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer, to be a member of the Union Tank Eckstein GmbH & Co KG (UTA), one of the leading providers for fuel card and mobility services in Europe and is part of Edenred the global leader in payment solutions for corporates. Using the UTA platform, commercial customers can refuel via a cashless payment system across 48.000 petrol stations in 40 European countries irrespective of the fuel supplier, as well as to receive further in-transit-related services (toll, repair, etc.).

As a Senior Angular Developer, you will join a selected team of highly skilled developers and engineers creating cutting-edge products in the payment transaction processing space. The products you will be working on are dedicated to supporting our core business and growth as well as providing accessibility and ease of use for our customers.

Position scope and key responsibilities

  • Developing front end applications based on requirements
  • Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practices
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Adhere to defined quality criteria and ensure the quality of deliverables (source code, tests, documentation, etc.)
  • Be part of peer-reviews for pull requests and architectural proposals
  • Share knowledge with other team members on components, architecture, best practices, etc.
  • Work closely with Architecture team, QA team and Product Owners
  • Produce project-related documentation
  • Provide technical feedback on business requirements

    • Technical stack

  • Frontend

    • Angular 16 and above, TypeScript, RxJS, Jasmine or Jest (unit tests), Cypress (e2e),
    HTML, CSS/SCSS, Tailwind, Google Maps

  • Backend

    • Java, Spring Boot, Azure services, MuleSoft

    Required skills and profile

  • University degree in computer science
  • 3+ years of experience working in software engineering
  • strong analytical skills
  • Experience in writing cross-browser compatible HTML and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Angular and RxJS
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and DevOps activities
  • Fluent English
  • Team player, always eager to learn new things and apply best practices
  • Work closely with the backend team
