Role Overview
We are looking for a Mid-level AS400 / COBOL Developer with French at B1/B2 level to join an insurance domain project. The role focuses on code upgrades and application maintenance, contributing to the modernization and stability of core insurance systems.
Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience as an AS400 / COBOL Developer

Hands-on experience with AS400 (IBM i) environments

Strong knowledge of COBOL development

Experience working on legacy system maintenance and code upgrades

Ability to understand and implement functional requirements in insurance systems

Experience working in structured enterprise environments
Responsibilities

Perform code upgrades and enhancements on AS400 / COBOL applications

Maintain and improve existing insurance systems

Analyze technical and functional requirements

Fix defects and support application stability

Collaborate with functional teams and other developers

Participate in testing and validation of upgraded code

Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer
Language Requirements
