Your role:
The Associate Accountant for our in-house finance function which supports operational, strategic and financial decision making at senior management level.
As an associate accountant, you will handle complex financial records and reports. You will support the senior accounting operations for Accounts Payable finance process, regulate and authenticate financial transactions, by maintaining accurate and on timely fashion the in the company ledgers.
You will help the finance function leaders and reporting team by providing insightful financial information and will support monthly ledger control to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Charging expenses to the right G/L accounts and cost centers
Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
Proposed purchase order amendments and stop payments.
Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
Performing recordkeeping and preparing financial reports,
Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
Helping to simplify and streamlining the AP process. Requirements:
University degree in Economics
At least 2-3 years of experience as Accountant Payable
English language - advanced level
Excel – advanced level
