For our team in Europe we are currently recruiting: an Associate Director AuditPurpose of the roleLeading role in an internal audit team as a Subject Matter Expert and an experienced professional in project and people management.Welcome in our teamIn this role you will be part of Organon’s Corporate Audit and Assurance Services (CAAS), which primary purpose it is to provide value-added independent and risk-based audit and assurance services.Main responsibilitiesLeading a small team through financial and compliance audits and assessments across all Organon divisions and functions to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and deliver audit reports that add value to the area audited.Coaching and training staff members during the execution of the audits and assessments.Demonstrating knowledge of and techniques to assess risk and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in moderately complex business scenarios in accordance with timelines.Applying knowledge to analyze and evaluate business scenarios following a risk based approach and maintaining supporting documentation.Coaching in the skill of detecting, analyzing, quantifying and reporting non-conformance.Participating in projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.Providing technical guidance and consultation on Company Policies and Procedures/Control Issues to the client and audit staff.Developing and communicating strategic direction and innovative, agile solutions to drive resultsLeading projects and people utilizing extensive analytics, strong communication and collaboration skills working across all functions.Leading coach and development sessions for new team membersYour profileBachelor's degree in accounting/finance (must);A professional audit and/or control, security certification such as CPA, CISA, CIA, CMA, CFE;Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance;Big 4 Audit experience;A minimum of 7-8 years of finance and/or audit experience;Ability to identify and integrate patterns, trends, and inconsistencies across data sources to determine their broader implications.Ability to coach in ways to improve team cohesiveness and effectiveness.Ability to maintain team’s focus in the face of distractions, problems or crises.Ability to proactively share information through appropriate mediums to keep others informed;Ability to use an open communication style that actively acknowledges other thoughts and opinions;Project management skills;Ability to travel internationally, if needed;Fluent in English (verbally and written).We offerWe welcome you to a truly global, dynamic and challenging environment with great opportunities for personal and professional development;The unique opportunity to join during the start up phase of a new leading biopharmaceutical company and help define a new culture that creates a compelling customer experience;Competitive salary and an interesting package of additional extra benefits;The possibility to work remotely, but also out of to the office when preferred;Numerous training, coaching and e-learning modules for long term job opportunities and development.
