Automation Developer (Fiber and/or Oil & Gas and/or Maritime Industry) (f-m-d) About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Electrification - Automation - Digitalization Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a member of an international development team working on software development for automation, your tasks would include developing the SE Industrial Process and Module Control Suite basis and application software framework (EAD business) based on the TIA or PCS7 family, as well as designing HMI process screens for SCADA system IA Ignition. You would work within the Scrum process to ensure progress is made, problems are addressed, and the project is successfully completed. Effective communication with the international team would be a crucial aspect of your role, and your goal would be to contribute to the development of high-quality software that meets the needs of the SE industry.How You’ll Make an Impact Development of software for PCS 7/TIA for EAD business and application functionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetUtilize Figma to create and maintain design documentation and user interfacesDesigning HMI process screens based on the SCADA system IA (WinCC, Ignition)Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systemsProvide training and support to end-users of automation systemsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systemsWhat You BringMaster’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in automation systems (referenced branches)Expertise in DCS, Drives and PMS (power management systems)Extensive knowledge of SCL/CFCExtensive knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScriptUnderstanding of web development frameworksExperience with FigmaStrong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)Experience working in international development teams
