AV Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical backbone of the company's production environments, ensuring that all audio-visual systems and broadcast equipment are operating at peak performance. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and rigorously test new technical equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and networking infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
- Operate and configure audio-visual systems for both onsite and remote production environments.
- Monitor system performance in real-time to identify issues and implement immediate technical solutions.
- Diagnose, analyze, and repair technical faults across equipment, networks, and signal systems.
- Design and implement custom technical circuits or system configurations as project needs evolve.
- Support live events, broadcasts, and virtual productions by ensuring technical equipment is expertly maintained.
- Ensure all installations and equipment handling comply with health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-level technical and operational goals.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware systems, IT networking, and audio-visual equipment.
- Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of production workflows and equipment operations within a broadcast environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage technical projects efficiently.
- Experience with photography, video production, or camera operations is highly valued.
- Familiarity with advanced AV concepts such as signal routing, switching, and infrastructure.
- A proactive mindset with a strong interest in learning and adapting to emerging technologies.
