We are looking for an energetic and passionate AWS Cloud Architect who can bring their experience and knowledge to our Technology Office team. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary technical associate of the business improvement team in assisting customer success in creating applications and services on the AWS platformPlan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, adhering to the client’s technical and business requirementsLead engagement with potential clients to design software solutions (architecture) during the sales process, including advising on additional modules, system customization/configuration, and service offering solutions to meet clients’ stated needsWork as a member of cross-functional teams to design scalable, highly available, secure application solutions that leverage cloud servicesFacilitate the research and finalize alternative design options to ensure that any enhancements fit with overall business requirementsAssess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends, and give advice on investmentsCollaborate with development teams to improve their infrastructure based on AWS best practicesMaintain understanding of advancing cloud capabilities, IT and business needsDesign of landing zones (multi-account strategy, identity and access management, governance, data security, network design, etc.)Identify and propose cost and functional efficiency optionsDocument detailed technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systemsAccelerate cloud adoption by influencing and standardizing reusable patterns to develop prebuilt solutions or automation templatesLead and facilitate design discussionsAble to develop a holistic view relating to the architecture and design of solutionsElicit requirements and facilitate infrastructure changesDrive assessments, audits and well-architected reviewsInvolve in coaching and mentoring activitiesEvaluate and review deliverables (architecture and design artifacts, code reviews, etc.)Have the overall accountability of architecture and design deliverables Requirements: Experience in customer-facing, advising, and consultingAt least two 2 years of experience in designing cloud-native and containerized applications in AWSAt least 8 years experience in IT with a focus on DevOps and AWSStrong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and technical skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues are essentialEnergetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid developmentPossess problem-solving skills and passion for delivering high-quality technical solutionsProven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issuesExperience with various kinds of models including but not limited to C4, 4+1Hands on experience documenting solution architecture and detailed designsExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Big Data analyticsHands-on experience with any of the following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Git, Jenkins or Kubernetes) with an “Automation First” attitudeSolid understanding of SDLCMust be an intellectually curious individualProven experience in designing CI/CD pipelinesConfident knowledge of Agile methodologiesEffective verbal and written communicationStrong presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesConversational English level (B2+)Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributedSoftware development-related degree or equivalent in education or experienceAWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional certification is a plusExtensive and current AWS DevOps best practices and tooling expertise is a plusMulticloud experience is a plusExperience in migrating large scale customer facing applications from on premise to AWS environment is a plusExperience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments is a plusTechnical leadership experience is a plusExperience in automate solutions using Python and other scripting languages is a plus We offer: Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexibleA competitive salary and good compensation packagePersonalized career growthProfessional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharingEducation reimbursementPaid vacation days, sick leaves, and days offHealthcare & Sport programMedical insuranceMemorable anniversary presentsCorporate events and team buildings
